HMVCG volunteers returned today to a wintry Mersey Vale Nature Park to continue the task of cutting back the brambles, non native shrubs and self seeded trees from the top path behind Craig Road, overlooking the wildlife pond.

Apart from helping to keep this path open for walkers, this management work is essential to maintaining the grassland so that wildflowers and wildlife thrive.

Would you like to help us on our next task day? Have a look at our events page to see where we will be the rest of this month.

We’d love to see you.
