Ahead of world leaders coming together in November as part of the global climate summit, we have an opportunity to show Boris Johnson and the UK government that we want them to be climate leaders and deliver urgent and ambitious action to tackle climate change. HMVCG will therefore be playing an active role in Great Big Green Week which will take place 18 – 26 September 2021. This will be the largest event for climate and nature ever seen in the UK. Thousands of events will celebrate how communities are taking action to tackle climate change and protect green spaces, and encourage others to get involved too. We need to call on politicians to raise their ambition and champion action on climate change. Great Big Green Week will celebrate local activity, raise the profile of climate change and show why it is relevant to your community and local decision makers.

Over the coming weeks we will start to share opportunities to get involved in activity which will support nature to thrive in our community.
