Last Sunday, encouraged by the vast improvement made to the Sidings Orchard the weekend before (see previous post), the volunteers came back to finish the job. Even better, more people joined us and like a well oiled machine, the team quickly got to work.  With some people raking up cuttings and others carrying them to the orchard edges to make wildlife habitat, after just a few hours the job was done.

Thanks to everyone pulling together not only does the orchard looks great, the improved grassland will provide an additional source of nectar for pollinators alongside the blossom.
