At our last open meeting our favourite local historian, Audrey Butler took us on a literary stroll of the history of Heaton Mersey – from when the bleachworks opened up to modern day Heaton Mersey.  It was an informative evening and good to hear from local residents their recollections of past Heaton Mersey.
