We will be working along the Woodland Walk path at Mersey Vale Nature Park, which runs from the steps by the junction of Craig Road and Station Road into the centre of the park.
The priority task is removing sprouting saplings from tree stumps to help keep this lovely path light and open for walkers.
Please join us. Any amount of time you can spare will help make a big difference. Lots for all ages to do (all under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult). There’s also drinks & biscuits for all.
MEETING TIME & PLACE: Meet at 10.30am at the top of the steps. If you are arriving later look out for us here and along the path.
THINGS TO BRING: Drinking water. Tools and gloves will be provided. Please wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear and don’t forget the sunscreen & hat should the sun shine on us!
NB. If it is very windy or heavy rain then the task day will be cancelled.
