Have a fun time at Mersey Vale Nature Reserve’s community orchard and meadow with the hugely popular Fungal Punk Dave, a local expert in all green space hidden life.
Be introduced to the amazing things living on our doorstep from bugs, beetles & butterflies to birds, trees, flowers & more. In two hours, Dave will help you identify at least 50 different species. No matter what your age, you’ll find it fascinating.
Dave is full of fun and enthusiasm for his subject and loves nothing more than spreading his knowledge and finding something new to get excited about!
Tea, coffee or a cold drink will be available at the picnic bench after pootling, giving you the chance to compare your finds and ask Dave questions.
This event is FREE. It is suitable for all ages but children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. There is a limited number of places so please book through Eventbrite. If you find that nearer the time you are unable to make it, please remember to cancel your booking to allow someone else to take your place.
