Sidings Orchard Ground Clearing

Time to clear the ground on the orchard of grass & weeds ready for the autumn.  We’ll be on site from 10am to 4pm.

Fiona from Cheshire Wildlife Trust and Wayne Bardsley from SMBC will be joining us and bringing along power tools – so this is not a suitable workday to bring along the children or dogs!

Tools and gloves are provided and there will be hot or cold drinks with. biscuits too.

This is a big job and we need a big push for as many volunteers as possible to come along for as much time as can be spared to help. Lots of clearing up behind the cutters, trimming around the trees and creating habitats with the cuttings.   So there will be something you can help with whatever your capabilities.

To help us know what tools and equipment to bring, please send us a note using our contact form or visit click ‘going’ on the event post  https://www.facebook.com/events/384969492162234/

Any questions, please do contact us.
